1st Day: 1st Sept.
Woke up at 4.30, bathed and watched TV until 6.15 then uncle came and fetch us to airport. Then check in, blah blah until boarded the plane at 7.45 am. Reached Hong Kong at 11++ am, bought some bread for lunch and then boarded the airport express to 青衣。Then transferred train to 荔景 and then to 荃湾。 (Yeah very longwinded, but its the only way)

Check in, saw our rooms (OMG damn small) then me, mum, sis went to explore the neighbourhood. Tio meh by two fruit stall owners (.__________.) Then dinner, go back hotel watch TVB dramas . ^^

2nd Day

Took MTR to 黄大仙 and prayed. 求签-ed also. Asked about 学业。Lala, very general. Then walked to the mall beside the temple to SHOP+ Lunch. Wlau, there the G2000 damn cheap luh! 3 polo tees for $31! =x But only bought a blue coloured one. Lunch. Had 五香肉丁公仔面。OMG luh, still got 1 cheese sandwich, 1 egg and a cup of coffee! o.o Everything in Hong Kong so big portion de... Lol.
Then to 尖沙嘴! The exit of the MTR station was connected to a SOGO so yeah, shopping! C:
Bought a pair of jeans on 50++% discount. (Describe later) Walked to Harbour City, bought a pair of Reebok shorts. Went back to hotel, rest then MTR-ed to 旺角女人街。On the way there bought a polo tee at Crocodile. XD. 女人街 Actually not only for women lah, got a lot of good stuff for others too! ^^ Bought a jacket (cannot all branded mah) and some gifts for you people back in 3DL. -.- Then walk all the way to 庙街, MTR-ed home.
3rd Day
MTR-ed to 中环， walked to Tsui Wah（翠华） for lunch。Next to Bank of China tower to get Nessie's present (you very dua pai hor...) Then MTR-ed to 铜锣湾. SOGO again! This one is 12 floors de! Bought a Billabong leather bag, a wallet (plus a pencil case as free gift) and Quiksilver polo tee! XD.
Went back hotel to rest then came out to 湾仔 for dinner at Hay Hay. (Don't know the Chinese) The 烧腊was very good! Lol. Then went back hotel watch 尖子攻略 & 溏心风暴家好月圆！ :D

4th Day

Took MTR to 东涌 and then cable car to 昂坪。Climbed the "226 steps to salvation" (Credits to Miss Loi <3
Then went back to Citygate to shop! And eat also luh. Lunch was at foodcourt. Porkchop rice with cheese. Then visited the various factory outlets. OMG luh. The Espirit damn cheap! EDC T-shirt for $14.50! Where you find in Singapore? After that back to hotel for 溏心风暴。：D
5th Day
Home sweet home~~~~~ (But before that 饮茶at 青衣 XD)

And, me, being such a kind soul, shall include a map of all the good shopping locations in HK!

This map is by no means the best. There are other locations which werent visited due to limited time. Go at your own discretion!

Everything is about TAN, a SINner (by no means referring to me) and his CO-Sinner, SEC(which shall, unfortunately, not appear until much later.)
It was very basic and ELEMENTARY initially, with TAN being good neighbours with TOA CAH SOH and THETA, the friendly neighbourhood REFERENCE ANGLE.

TAN was a RIGHT handed person with an ANGULAR and handsome face.

Then came the Xs and Ys, which managed to find a spot in the neighbourhood quickly.
Everything went well until...

TAN was diagnosed with DEPRESSION.
"Oh my, all that SINning must have afflicted me with this malady! Woe me!"

SEC did not have any way to cure his DEPRESSION (or, in other words, ELEVATE him) as his appearance marked the beginning of another bout of DEPRESSION for TAN (and most students, for that matter.)
TAN was 1/2 as knowledgable as SEC, and hence did not know that his As, Bs, Cs. In fact, he had unknowingly SINned, for being illiterate in today's society, where literacy rates hit 90+%.

TAN committed suicide and went to Heaven.
God told him,"Hmm, you are a SINner. I shall let you go back to the mortal's world, under the conditon that you follow a set of SINnEr's RULES."

I hope that the committee does not regret their decision because if they do, I also won't xi1 han4 this position. As I told Sisui, I will be waiting to see a good show in Beijing. If she screws up big time, don't expect any sympathy or assistance from me . Even if Henry begs me. If she doesn't screw up( the probabilty being 1 over infinity), she will earn my respect. Not that she cares about it anyway. But, if she really can prove that she is more capable than me in this field, I willingly relinquish this position to her. But take note, for now, until Beijing, I still think that I'm the one that is more suited to be the Log head."

And because 到手的一块肉被人抢走了，我不甘心！Thinking about it in Bj, I was like, "Ok, since the ex-committee feels that this is the best for the band then so be it. But all eyes will be on her."

And now, she has proved herself, once again but unfortunately in the wrong way.

And despite my super low chance of getting "a seat in the comm area", I still shall say this:

Beijing part II

1st Day:

Woke up at 3++ and blah blah blah until 3.30 reach the airport. Supposed to gather at 4.15 (so early :( ) Then check in with Bert, Jinhong, Shaozhe and Jonathan and boarded the plane with 20 mins to go b4 the gate closes.

*Casey managed to smuggle a Swiss army knife through security check! SG security is slack!!*

Anyways, after reaching the SUPER HUGE Bangkok airport, den boarded the plane to Beijing. Then the shock!

Our instrus (all except flutes, oboes and clarinets) got detained!

REASON being:

"We are scared that you will bring in a cheaper instrument into Beijing and swap them with more expensive instruments (which are cheaper in Beijing) and bring them back into SG!"

UTTER BULLSHIT AND CRAP LUHS.

And so, we had to continue our journey without our dear instrus until the next day...

Was emo-ing for no particular reason on the bus to the restaurant...

Then went hotel. Not bad! Grand chandeliers and marble flooring worrz...

Took room key, den went up with Daniel. (Utter torture). Watch TV, bathe, sleep.

Ok. Yesterday Mr Wong announced the new band committee (my batch).

Notice that I had left out a department, (elaborate later)

Mr Wong was saying that this batch of committee is special in the sense that there was some intervention by the alumni and teachers (like WTH, what has it got to do with the alumni)

And that they intervened because if the candidates were to be decided by the ex-committee and other band members, the "popularity votes" would most likely cause the band to collapse if the candidate voted for happens to be not so capable, it will eventually cause the department to collapse. Which I absolutely agree.

Which brings me to the main purpose of me blogging today. Why would the committee want to put a totally inept b!tch in a department that she would not be familiar with?

Oh and, suddenly remembered one thing. For the past few batches, no matter how poorly did the ARICs perform (not insinuating anyone here), they would at least get a "seat in the com area". But this year, only 3 ARICs got posts. Thats a mere 50% or 1/2, mind you. And the ironic thing is that, of the 3 that didn't get posts, 2 were very capable- Sisui and Huimin. (At least I think so lah) They were included in the two rounds of tentative committee, so I was sufficiently surprised when they were not included in the current com, especially when there are other more inept people in it now. (Not saying anything about you, Sisui and Huimin)

I feel that I should be the new Log head. Because I know much more than that b!tch in the proceedings of this department. Yeah. So I did have 5 tests this week, and scraped through all of them (except HCL, of course. ILY, HCL. :DDDDD)

Well, chongqing was super fun. Oh and Henry, f.y.i, I nvr go pao4 niu1 lor. It was 4 a very educational trip.

Everyday in de 1st week was basically juz breakfast, school, rest, basically just boring... the 3 gorges trip was rather sucky too. bathing facilities to food... there's just nothing nice about the first week.

2nd week was much much better. We began to invite Bryan n Damien over to our house for daidee, mahjong n bridge. Sometimes Weijie, Alvin Kuan and Yifan came over too.
The secong week Tuesday was disastrous coz a lot of people fell sick and got admitted into the hospital. People like Wanshan, Sheryl Lee, Beaver, Kang Leng, Binglin...

2nd week was much better other than that. We went shopping thrice and I bought quite a lor of things!!!

Well, the title is pretty self explanatory. And the hatred stems from 2 band members who think they r "Queens of the World".
The first person is a certain trumpeter from 2dl. Well, I've gotta admit she's quite a gd player and plays first trump. for every song (almost). But her personality sux.For first, she sux up 2 pple lik Mr Wong n her "dear" RIC heads, JH n RT. Now dat normally would nt affect me, but her stupid attitude is like shit. She looks down on her own section mates, e.g Geoffrey n Xinyu. So wat if u plae well? I've seen n heard better. Seriously. U r a source of land pollution (your presence) and noise pollution (your SB solo). U r a parasite who brings a burden to your parents. They muz have accumulated 100 yrs of bad luck 2 hav a daughter lik u.
The next person isa certain trombonist from 4hm. She seriously gets on my nerves. Her actions would also have no effect on me, but something she did during POP made me uber angry. (Quote Ryan)"So, the treasure hunt game started. Everyone was enthusiastic, running towards their destinations, actively participating in group activities... etc. Then, things got bad. Some Sec4 read a clue, and she was certain that she was to head the 4th floor locker area. She checked, and there was no one there. She re-read the clue, and then she thought it was the 2nd floor. She saw a station, but she doubted that it was her groups' . She asked me and Kiat Hui if they were supposed to go to that particular station, but we didnt say a thing, just as we were supposed no to. She was pissed. She ran back up to 4th floor, again seeing no one,she rushed dowan to the second floor. She was tired and perspiring. And she said, (holding the clue in her hands) "You know what? (She held the clue just below her face) Your clue, (Tore the clue into shreds) Sucks."

We were stunned, speechless, all she could do was to roll her eyes at us, with all that fury and hatred in them. Kiat Hui said " We don't even know where the station is supposed to be, we didn't even get to look at that clue before, since the other Sec2s didnt want us to tell our groups. The fact that we alreaedy called you down from the 4th floor is already a privillage, and you had to tear the clue. The clue that other groups had to use... "
See? See? and yours truly n rachael were de stationmasters. We were like, shocked?
